ARTMONSTER는 한국 맥주 양조 기술의 발전을 위해 미국에서 다년간 연구 끝에 2018년 ARTMONSTER 양조장을 설립했습니다. 그 이후 2020년부터 2022년 현재까지 다양한 국제 맥주대회에서 총 214관왕의 화려한 수상 경력을 보유한 맥주 양조 전문가가 되었습니다. 독보적인 양조 기술에 걸맞는 매력적인 맥주 브랜드로 발돋움 하기 위해 [아트 디렉션] 프로젝트를 진행하였습니다.

2년간 세 번의 일러스트레이션 베이스의 컨셉을 만들어냈습니다. 첫 컨셉에서는 ARTMONSTER의 다양한 맥주 이름과 어울리는 캐릭터를 만들고 캐주얼하고 위트있게 풀어냈습니다. 두 번째 컨셉에서는 어른들을 위한 북유럽 동화 캐릭터를 모티프로 비교적 차분한 분위기로 만들었습니다. 이 두 컨셉의 공통점은 헤어스타일, 동작 의상 등 다양한 해석으로 아트몬스터의 상상력을 매력적으로 풀어냈다는 점이며 또한 일러스트레이션 컨셉에 맞는 새로운 로고와 웹사이트, 패키지, SNS, 컨텐츠, 포스터 등을 개발하며 브랜딩을 더욱 견고하게 했습니다.

ARTMONSTER Brewery was established in 2018 after many years of study and research in the United States for the development of Korean beer brewing technology. ARTMONSTER has won a total of 214 awards in various international beer competitions from 2020 to 2022. With our award-winning beer brewing experts, we carried out the [Art Direction] project so that ARTMONSTER could be seen as an attractive brand suitable for brewing technology.

In a year and a half of art direction, I created two illustration concepts. In the first concept, the characters that fit the names of ARTMONSTER's various beers were witty and casual, and in the new concept, a calm atmosphere was created with the characters of Nordic fairy tales for adults. What the two have in common is that they enable various expressions through hairstyles, movements and clothes. In addition, branding was solidly carried out with ARTMONSTER's new logo, website, package, SNS content, banner, poster, etc. that fit the illustration concept. The story of the beer that contains the pride of ARTMONSTER brewing experts and the illustrations of TIN art director that sensibly tells the story have made it possible to present world-class beers attractively to customers around the world.
